The Rotary Club of Church Hill (RCCH) is pleased to announce that the 2017 Hill Topper 5K has raised $5,700 to benefit the Robinson Theater Community Arts Center (RTCAC).

The charity race, which weaves through the Church Hill community, was held Sunday morning, March 26 in conjunction with the Church Hill Irish Festival and had over 260 runners. The check was presented to Betsy Hart, executive director of the RTCAC by Ian Johnson, RCCH’s incoming president, Friday, June 9, at the Robinson’s Community Block Party.

The RTCAC is located at 2903 Q Street, and with the arts as a foundation, strives to respond to the changing needs of the community and serve as a valuable resource. By offering services such as the Family Movie Night, exercise and nutrition classes, and community/private events, RTCAC continues to contribute in improving the quality of life for children, teens, adults, and the elderly within North Church Hill.

The RCCH meets Monday nights at 6:30 PM at Patrick Henry’s Pub (2300 East Broad Street) and is involved with many community and global projects. For more information, please visit the website at http://www.churchhillrotary.org

The 2018 Hill Topper 5K is expected to open registration November 1, 2017.
