Congrats to all the grant awardees. Soul and Vinegar served their delicious food at the Union Hill/Jefferson Park picnic this summer and we gobbled it down. Looking forward to more wholesome, flavorful dishes!
Will someone please explain where all this $$$ is coming from, thought we were broke. After all $30 to pick up a bag of leaves
@mark – not sure of the breakdown, but Bon Secours, Capital One, and LISC are the forces behind this – not the city. This has been Bon Secours’ initiative from the beginning.
@Mark – Bon Secours put up $97,000 and Capital One put up $10,000 and Virginia LISC managed the process – no City money
@Mark… please search Bon Secours’ SEED grant on this site. You’ll recognize many of the past years’ recipients as today’s thriving business.
