1 Mile Fun Run – free, registration still required

Neighborhood Resource Center of Greater Fulton is excited to bring back the annual Run to the River! Starting at Stone Brewing Richmond (4300 Williamsburg Ave.), this year’s 8k runners will tackle three challenging hills, race through historic neighborhoods over cobblestone streets, run through a zombie-filled graveyard and dash along the scenic banks of the James River. The event will also include a free pasta dinner on October 27, a Fun-Run Mile presented by Dominion Energy Virginia’s EnergyShare Program, Halloween themed children’s events and post-race party at Stone Brewing. Each runner 21+ receives a beer ticket and 10% of beer sales goes back to NRC! We hope you will join us for the festivities on October 29!

This is a community event and everyone is welcome; even if you are not running, you can cheer on runners and enjoy the Halloween activities.

Stone Brewing prides itself on being environmentally responsible. We ask participants to bring their own reusable water bottle to use at the water stations and support Stone Brewing’s commitment to sustainability.

All proceeds from the race benefit Neighborhood Resource Center. Visit our website to learn more about our mission – www.nrccafe.org.
