Exciting!! I’m glad to learn that there will be 3 soft openings!!
Happy that I got to check out the space recently. It’s lovely–light and airy!

Very excited for this! Looking forward to coming out and supporting the cafe, and building community through it.
Church Hill north is starting to look like Carytown. I rode past this coffee shop today after work. One word: Gentrification

Did you actually go in? This is a super nice building that built FOR the community, not Ment to be built and sold for increased capital.
I was actually excited to see locals working in a nice, clean environment. Most all of the the nine mile shops sell junk and DRUGS, so to add this to the mix of the corridor is nice…
Gentrification or whatever you want to call it, is good for the community. I’m sure you will say the same for the new culinary school and grocery store. CHAT and Bon secours are in the community for the RIGHT reasons, not just to make a buck. I just hate it when everyone lumps ALL progress in the gentrification category like it’s a BAD thing.
So just curious about your comment “One word: gentrification”, what did you mean by this? Are you mad that people are putting, some money, effort and time into the community? Just curious.
