The RTD is reporting that Bobby Aaron Richardson has been sentenced to 15 years in the October 2008 shooting of Haywood McCallum.

The article goes on to substantiate much of the tawdry detail that came to light in the comments following the arrest of Bobby Aaron Richardson:

McCallum, a retired music teacher at Richmond’s Armstrong High School, testified at Richardson’s trial in May that he and Richardson had had a brief, intimate relationship that McCallum said he ended after he discovered Richardson was a minor.

McCallum also testified that Richardson threatened to tell people about the relationship and blackmailed him. McCallum paid Richardson from $3,000 to $5,000 over a period of a couple of years but at some point stopped paying, authorities said.
