Shooting on Newbourne Street
03/25/2010 6:07 PM by John M
nbc12 is reporting that “a male has been shot with life-threatening injuries in the 2100 block of Newbourne Street near Armstrong high school.” The shooting occurred at around 2:45PM. No arrest has been made.
Right behind me. This is why I hate warm weather. They just built some nice new, unfortunately suburban-looking, houses there and the last one was just moved into a few weeks ago. Across the street is a house owned by Bayou and is just sitting there. Across from it is another vacant house. Its owner keeps it up but he always rents it out temporarily to the wrong crowd of people.
The Richmond Police Department needs the public’s assistance in locating a man in connection with a shooting yesterday in the 2100 block of Newbourne Street.
Levelle V. Everette, 17, is wanted on charges including malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a juvenile.
Everette is a black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.
Anyone with information about Everette’s whereabouts or information about this shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
