Double shooting on Accommodation Street
The Richmond Police Department is asking for help locating a person wanted for shooting two people early this morning. Investigators say about 12:45 a.m. Justin Horace Belnavis, 28, shot two females during an argument in the 2000 block of Accommodation Street. One female is in critical condition. The other female suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Belnavis’ is 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 225 pounds. His last known address is 1007 N. 35th Street, Richmond. His aliases include: King Jus, Jay, K or Keith.
He is armed and dangerous.

The man wanted in connection with shooting two females early Saturday morning is in police custody.
Justin Horace Belnavis, 28, of the 1000 block of North 35th Street was arrested by the Fugitive Task Force late Saturday night. He is charged with felonious assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Two females reported being shot by a known male during an argument around 12:45 a.m. Feb. 12 in the 2000 block of Accommodation Street. One female remains in critical condition. The other female’s injury is not life-threatening.
Judge Margaret P. Spencer on Thursday ordered Belnavis to serve two life terms in prison, plus 15 years, for shooting Carter-Taylor and Sonya Blue on Feb. 12 in the 2000 block of Accommodation Street in the Mosby Court public housing project.
