Church Hill Irish Festival

The parishioners of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church invite you to the 27th Annual Irish Festival, March 24 and 25, 10:00-7:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday. The festival begins on Saturday with the St. Patrick’s Parade and continues with a 4-block street fair in front of St. Patrick’s Church on North 25th Street between Broad and Franklin Streets on Historic Church Hill.

Evergreen historical marker unveiling

A new state historical highway marker issued by the Virginia Department of Historic Resources to honor Evergreen Cemetery will be unveiled and dedicated Sunday, March 25, at 2PM at the cemetery.

The Hill Topper 5k

Runs on Sunday March 25, 2012 at 8AM as part of the Church Hill Irish Festival. Goals for the event include showcasing the neighborhood, promoting healthy lifestyles, and building upon our community pride.

City Council Formal Meeting

Mon Mar 26 6:00 pm
Every 2nd and 4th Mon – Responsible for deciding official Council action, which includes discussing, adopting, rejecting, and amending laws and approving the budget. Formal meetings include a time for pubic comment and are televised live on the local PBS station and are replayed in Richmond on Government Access Channel 17, beginning at Noon and 7:00 p.m. daily.

Frequency
Typically the second and fourth Monday of each month; 6:00-8:30 p.m. (With the exception of August, when no Formal meetings are held, and holidays)
