Council to consider amended Stone ordinance, outdoor dining at Urban Farmhouse, more

The agenda for the Monday, February 23, City Council Meeting (PDF) has a number of items of local interest or impact:

Ord. No. 2015-20 (Patron: Mayor Jones, By Request) – To amend Ord. No. 2011-20-32, adopted Mar. 14, 2011, as amended by Ord. No. 2013-75-57, adopted Apr. 22, 2013, which authorized the special use of the property known as 310 North 33rd Street for the purpose of the conversion of an existing building to a multifamily dwelling with up to 50 units and principal commercial uses permitted on corner lots in the R-63 Multifamily Urban Residential District on the property, to authorize outdoor dining, upon certain terms and conditions.

Ord. No. 2015-29 (Patron: Mayor Jones) – To authorize the Chief Administrative Officer, on behalf of the City of Richmond, to execute a First Amendment to Lease of Property between the City of Richmond and Lehigh Cement Company LLC for the purpose of extending the term of the lease and increasing the amount of the rent.

Res. No. 2015-R13 (Patron: Ms. Newbille) – To approve an expenditure in the amount of $2,000 from the Council District Funds for the Seventh District to make a donation to Girls For A Change’s 2015 Date with Dad Dinner and Dance.

Ord. No. 2014-254 (Patron: Mr. Agelasto) – To amend Ord. No. 2014-237-210, adopted November 10, 2014, which authorized the Chief Administrative Officer, for and on behalf of the City of Richmond, to execute a Stone Brewery Cooperation Agreement between the City of Richmond and the Economic Development Authority of the City of Richmond for the purpose of facilitating the construction of Authority facilities that will house the operations of KoochenVagner’s Brewing Co., doing business as Stone Brewing Co., for the purpose of adding certain restrictions for the use of revenues derived from the Development. (As Amended)

Ord. No. 2015-32 (Patron: Mayor Jones) – To authorize the Chief Administrative Officer, on behalf of the City of Richmond, to execute an Agreement to Relocate Wastewater Facilities between the City of Richmond and USP Echo Harbour LLC for the purpose of facilitating the relocation of existing City wastewater utility facilities and providing for the granting to the City of a public right-of-way recreational use easement to be used as a segment of the Virginia Capital Trail.

Ord. No. 2015-34 (Patron: Mayor Jones) – To direct the sale of surplus real estate located at 3101 Wharf Street to the Economic Development Authority of the City of Richmond for nominal consideration, upon certain terms and conditions.
