Man shot to death on Ambrose Street

An as-yet-unidentified man was shot to death last night in Whitcomb:
Police said around 10:13 p.m. they received a call for a man shot inside an apartment in the 2300 block of Ambrose Street. When officers arrived to the scene, they discovered a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
This would be the 8th homicide in the East End this year, and the 1st outside of Mosby Court.

Whitcomb Court Death Investigation
The Richmond Police Department is conducting a death investigation into a fatal shooting that occurred last night in Whitcomb Court.
At approximate 10:13 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, RPD officers responded to a call for a person shot in the 2300 block of Ambrose Street in Whitcomb Court. When they arrived they found the body of an adult male inside a residence at that location. He had been shot.
RPD detectives are withholding the identity of the victim until they can complete their interviews.
Another individual, an adult male, was also shot during the incident and driven to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
There have been no arrests.
